Frequently Asked Questions

Trade-Ins, Selling & Buying

Nope! You're welcome to sell us your car with no obligation to purchase. Of course, we’d love for you to consider a new or pre-owned Kia, but it’s not required.
Yes—if your leasing company allows it. Contact them to confirm. If permitted, we’ll need a payoff amount to complete the purchase.
Definitely. Whether it’s a Kia or another make, we’ll gladly evaluate your vehicle.

Required Paperwork

Unfortunately, no. A valid title is required to sell your vehicle.

Bring the following:

  • Vehicle title

  • Lien release (if applicable)

  • If there’s still a lien, we’ll help handle the payoff

We’ll need:

  • Lienholder name and daytime phone number

  • Account holder name(s)

  • Account number and last 4 digits of SSN
We’ll request a 10-day payoff from your lender on your behalf.

Vehicle Inspection & Offer

Our certified appraisers, with decades of experience, will handle your inspection and appraisal.
We inspect your car’s condition, history, market value, and installed features.
You can cover the difference with certified funds (no cash accepted).
If you’re also purchasing from us, we may be able to roll that amount into your new loan.

All factory-installed or permanent features (e.g., stereo, navigation, seats) are factored into your offer.
Removing any features may void or reduce your offer.

Note: If you return later and your vehicle is in a different condition, the offer may change.

Preparing for Your Visit

Missing keys/remotes may reduce your appraisal value, as replacements are costly.
Yes. If someone is unavailable, a power of attorney may be accepted in certain cases.
Let us know if you're selling on behalf of a business or if co-owners can’t attend.
